Welsh office

by Mark Rowe

Cintrix Systems Ltd, Caerphilly-based fire and security firm, started as a home-based, one-man business in 2010. It now employs eight people. After out-growing the home office the company moved into its first 300 sqft Evans Easyspace office in Caerphilly in March 2012. Cintrix then had to upgrade to a larger 500sqft space at the same site as it grew. Now, Evans Easyspace Caerphilly, pictured, has engaged Cintrix to manage the security of the business centre; as a more convenient and cost effective arrangement than employing an external company.

Cintrix Systems Ltd offers fire and security services to South Wales including fire alarms, fire extinguishers, fire risk assessments, emergency lighting, CCTV, intruder alarms and access control. Clients include councils, schools, universities, offices and property agents.

Martin Pitman, MD of Cintrix Systems said: “We’re thrilled that the company is continuing to expand and this is thanks in no small part to the support of Evans Easyspace. We were first attracted to the site by its low cost, simple office space with easy rental terms. But the site team are also great at promoting businesses within the centre and trying to pass on work. It’s a great environment for small businesses to gain exposure and to promote each other.

“Working in this collaborative environment has gained us at least five clients that we wouldn’t otherwise have been in touch with. In the same way, there are also companies that have provided a service to us, which we would not have used had it not been for Evans Easyspace.”

And Jessica Wall, General Manager of Evans Easyspace, Caerphilly added: “As Cintrix has found, Evans Easyspace is a great solution for small businesses looking for affordable space and the opportunity to accelerate growth. Our aim is to continue helping these companies – and by extension the local economy – to flourish.”
