Retail LP date

The contract guarding company Cordant Security, has been chosen to provide security and guest liaison services for the Retail Fraud – Leicester conference and the Fraud Awards 2015, for the UK loss prevention (LP) sector.

The founder of Retail Knowledge – owners of the global Retail Fraud conference series – Paul Bessant said: “We are delighted to have concluded an agreement with Cordant Services to take care of the security of this year’s Retail Fraud – Leicester conference as well as the Fraud Awards later the same day.

“I am sure that their professionalism and attention to detail will provide the high level of security our ‘who’s who’ guest list deserves and is in keeping with the desire of our sponsors, WIS International, to provide all those lucky enough to have tickets with a truly outstanding evening, celebrating the best of risk and loss prevention.”

Fraud Awards

Last year The Loss Prevention Director of the Year Award went to Ray Palmer, formerly of B&Q. This year the category has eight LP executives shortlisted. The winners will be named at a black tie dinner on Thursday, October 8 at Leicester City Football Club, pictured.
