Chubb development academy

by Mark Rowe

Chubb Fire & Security Limited has created a learning and development academy for sales, technical and customer service staff. Pictured are some of the first graduates from the Chubb Sales Academy.

The academy features a series of 18 bespoke learning modules delivered over a five-week period, and offered five times a year. Each sales person – whether new to the firm or transferred from a sister business – will complete the course. Covered are the business and its history, plus specific product technologies and customer needs.

Chris Parker, head of commercial transformation, Chubb, said: “Throughout the Chubb Sales Academy we will encourage, develop and monitor each candidate to ensure they are reaching the high standards that we expect of our teams.”

Sales managers have access to a calendar of other modules so that their teams are aware of the latest products, or as a refresher. Parker said: “The academy is another example of Chubb’s commitment to nurturing and developing new talent. We must ensure our employees have access to the latest techniques to match the high standards our customers expect.”
