Thermal cameras at ISC West 2017

by Mark Rowe

IndigoVision, the video security product developers, will be previewing their new BX Thermal Camera at the ISC West 2017 exhibition at booth #27109. The BX Thermal Camera will be on display with other security products from the firm on April 5 to 7 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.

With their first range of thermal cameras, IndigoVision combines their encoding platform with uncooled thermal sensors to enable video analytics and temperature measurement analytics in a single product. The makers claim an effective detection distance of 9,845ft/3000m for a vehicle.

Ivor Eathorne, IndigoVision’s Hardware Product Manager, said: “With the introduction of thermal imaging technology to our camera family, we provide additional levels of high-performance perimeter analytics on the edge. This now extends our comprehensive solution for our customers with full integration into Control Center software.”
