Wireless system

by Mark Rowe

RISCO Group has launched the first of several planned new or improved products to the UK market in 2018 with CommPact, described as a security system designed with the installer in mind.

CommPact is a fully wireless, Wi-Fi enabled and pet-friendly system for installation in any location with one button automatic configuration. Featuring RISCO’s smartphone and web app, CommPact offers control on the go, the product firm says.

Integration with video verification and home automation has become an integral part of all RISCO panel offerings, the firm says. CommPact comes with the option of the VUpoint P2P camera in the package. The 32 zone CommPact system has been field tested and conforms to EN50131 security standards.

UK Head of Sales Ian Stones said: “For some time, UK installers have been demanding a cost effective and really quick to install professional system. I’m delighted to say we have now addressed this demand with CommPact. Additionally, CommPact can be integrated with video verification, home automation and a wide range of accessories offering both security and safety.”
