Hochiki Europe at FIREX 2018

by Mark Rowe

Hochiki Europe are marking the 100th birthday of Hochiki Corporation at FIREX 2018, hosting a VIP lounge and showing several of its most recently developed products. The manufacturer of life safety systems will be on stand A355 at the fire safety exhibition, from June 19 to 21 at London Excel.

This year also marks the release of Hochiki Europe’s multi-sensor, the ACD-EN. The new product offers life safety installers 24 EN-approved modes of operation incorporating smoke, heat and carbon monoxide (CO) detection to suit various applications.

On the FIREX stand, representatives will be talking to attendees, outlining the range, plus Hochiki Europe’s others, including FIREscape+ and LEAKalarm. FIREscape+ is a combined fire detection and emergency lighting system that features ‘way finding’ technology. LEAKalarm offers end-users the latest in water detection, intended to mitigate the risks to electrical systems or other environments susceptible to water leaks.

Tracy Kirk, General Manager Sales and Marketing, at Hochiki Europe said: “Over the last century, Hochiki has led the way in the design and manufacture of world-class life safety systems and our company has come to be recognised as one that is synonymous with integrity and reliability. We understand the important role we play in supporting the industry with education and training. At this year’s FIREX, we’d love to hear from everyone who’s interested in the latest issues in the life safety sector or who’s interested in learning about our new products and services.”
