EMEA shipment

by Mark Rowe

BCDVideo has contracted UK-based Centerprise International to build BCDVideo video recording systems for shipment into the EMEA market. The two companies combine over 50 years of server building experience – and share Intel, Microsoft, and VMware certifications.

Jeff Burgess – President and CEO of BCDVideo, pictured, said: “On the heels of our new Dell EMC initiative, and the ongoing growth opportunity within the EMEA landscape, we felt it paramount to partner with a proven system integrator who has a strong relationship with Dell EMC. Centerprise more than fits the bill. This allows us to offer a localized product with in-country support, stock systems locally for quick turnaround times, maintain our purpose-built, performance-driven strategy, and most importantly, the high-quality standards that BCDVideo systems represent.”

BCDVideo also has numerous Video Management Software (VMS) authorisations including Genetec and Milestone and private-label systems from over 25 security industry companies. The arrangement with Centerprise allows many of these builds to originate in the UK.

Jeremy Bruty – Director of Centerprise said: “BCDVideo is a fantastic partner to have on board and we are very excited to be working with such an innovative leader in the security surveillance market. We applaud BCDVideo’s decision to open the integration facility in the UK to be closer to their clients in the EU. This comes at a time when we are up-scaling our system integration operation through the expansion of our already sizeable manufacturing facility in Wales. We look forward to actively realising a reduction in lead time and providing efficiency savings in the near future.”

Centerprise International engineers visited BCDVideo’s corporate Innovation Center in the US for engineering training and have been certified to build BCDVideo systems.
