Sugar Software

by msecadm4921

The eVolution Accident Reporting System from FSIUK Limited was installed at British Sugar plc and was running live within two months of the two companies first meeting, the firm says.

The software is being used at all British Sugar sites and is recording accidents and incidents affecting the workforce of around 1,500 employees plus contractors during the sugar processing season.

Ash Solanki, Company Health and Safety Manager at British Sugar says that he has been impressed by the speed of implementation enabling him to achieve his target of system availability for the start of the processing season in October. The first phase is now implemented, enabling the safety teams and management to record all safety incidents in a single data base that can be analysed for trends, and plan preventative actions. Enhanced features for phase two are already in the planning.

Christopher Parsons, Project Manager, added: "The speed of response and the excellent team work amongst FSIUK, the British Sugar safety and IT teams have made this project the success it deserves."
