Sir Ronnie Invited

Sir Ronnie Flanagan, HM Inspector of Constabularly, is the invited after lunch speaker at the Association of Security Consultants 2006 lunch.

It’s at the RAF Club, Piccadilly, on Thursday, June 22.

Winners of the Imbert Prize will be announced at the lunch. The Imbert Prize is named after one of the ASC’s patrons, Lord Peter Imbert, former Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police. The ASC encourages the development of ideas for the advancement of risk and security management in the UK through the award of this annual prize.

There are three categories in the awards:

1)The Selected Academic Dissertation. An award for a selected dissertation submitted by an academic institution that is relevant to consultancy in security. Cranfield, Leicester, Loughborough and Portsmouth Universities are invited to submit on behalf of one of their students.

2)The Security Industry Award. To the person who has made the most notable contribution in the Security Industry during the preceding year. Nominated by ASIS, BSIA, IPSA and TSI.

3)The ASC Member Award. To the ASC member who has made the most significant contribution to independent security consultancy in the preceding year. Nominated by members of the ASC.
