Building Site Tool

by msecadm4921

CCSec announces that it has become a UK provider of Infobric technology. The firm says that this new software and hardware package is designed to manage access and take control of construction sites via the internet, using sensors and transmitters to relay data in real time.

The Infobric Management System complies with the new CSCS Smart Card and works by providing real-time information from all monitored sites via the internet. This web-based system is connected to a number of different CSCS Smart Card-compliant devices on site, to allow remote control of who can enter the site or gain access to secure areas.

At any time, management can control these devices via the internet to grant access or limit access, and create instant reports about site operations and staff attendance. Details such as location, time and date are recorded to a central database.

Storage areas, accommodation, equipment and machinery can also be linked to the Infobric system to allow only authorised access. This new concept can control the use and return of equipment and provide a health and safety tool.

Infobric is the latest offering from CCSec who provides security support for construction sites, void buildings and temporary installations across the UK on a national network basis. Other services include manned guards, alarms, access control, rapid response teams and 24/7 monitoring capabilities.
