Linx acquires ARC Training

Linx International (Linx) has acquired ARC Training International Limited (ARC Training) from red24 Plc, an international provider of risk management services.

As part of the deal red24 has taken a 25 per cent interest in Linx. Simon Richards, the chairman of red24 has been appointed as a non-executive director to the Linx board. Linx’s Managing Director David Gill, a Chartered Security Professional, has been appointed as a non-executive director to the red24 board.

Linx, a risk management consultancy, is retained by a blue-chip firms to provide training, security and risk management support and corporate investigations. Linx is the majority shareholder in Perpetuity Training. Linx and red24 speak of opportunities for both to expand the range of security and risk management consulting services offered to their UK and international clients.

Simon Richards, Chairman of red24, said: “We are delighted to have established a formal relationship with Linx who, we believe, are best placed to deliver the next stage in ARC Training’s development. We are also very pleased to welcome David to the board of Directors of red24. David brings a high level of sector expertise and experience and will provide a valuable added dimension to the board.”

And David Gill said: “The acquisition of ARC Training presents Linx with an exciting opportunity to build a true global leader in security training. I am looking forward to working closely with the red24 senior management team as our combined resources and specialist expertise will undoubtedly lead to new opportunities for both Linx and red24 in the security and risk management consultancy arenas.”
