The Global Institute of Cyber, Intelligence and Security (GICIS) has signed a new partnership with the Association of British Investigators (ABI).
The two bodies say this will lead to the development of accredited courses for professional investigative training and related areas at GICIS.
Dr Martin Wright, Academic Director of the Global Institute of Cyber, Intelligence & Security (GICIS), said: ‘The provision of high-quality education and training in association with the ABI Academy will bring very real benefits to the current and future members of the association.’ We look forward to working with the Academy in developing vocational, professional and award-bearing programmes for an international audience that supports the wider development of the ABI.’
The ABI points out it’s the longest established organisation representing private investigators in the UK, dating from 1913. Alan Blaney, Chairman of the Association of British Investigators Academy (ABI), said: ‘Our relationship serves to extend our influence and that of the international investigative community by offering quality academic studies alongside the unparalleled experience and advice of the ABI.’
