Service launch

by Mark Rowe

The Axis Group has launched Astute, to support businesses in managing security and mitigating risk by delivering bespoke training and consultancy services.

Astute’s training services include bespoke qualifications for in-house teams, security practitioners or FM managers looking to broaden. This sister company of Axis Security also provides refresher training for security operatives using bespoke e-learning. Services include project-based consultations on areas such as operational violence management and organisational security.

Richard Diston, Director of Astute, says: “The launch of Astute is a response to the increasing need to accelerate the ‘professionalisation’ of the security industry with relevant training while providing clients with highly qualified and commercially aware security management advice.”

Richard has a Masters Degree with distinction in Security Management from Loughborough; and has over 20 years of security experience including providing consulting services to the care and retail sectors.
