Anti-terror basics

by Mark Rowe

A security consulting firm, Minieri Associates, has released a paper titled Anti-Terrorism Security 101.

The industry veteran Michael Minieri describes the paper as ‘a very brief primer highlighting several fundamental issues that might help explain the security failures apparent from reports of recent terrorist attacks including Paris, Jakarta, Burkina Faso, and others’.

The paper is available as a PDF free on the ‘downloads’ page of their website, www.MinieriAssociates.com.

Minieri began in security as a guard in 1974, while at college. See the website also for other downloadable papers, for instance on school shootings, guarding outsourcing, and security assessment deficiencies.
