TDSi will also participate in a panel discussion on the future of access control.

TDSi’s Managing Director, John Davies, will be presenting specific presentations on all three days of the event, from 12:30pm until 1:30pm. On day one, the Tuesday, June 20, he will talk about ‘Enhancing security and reducing installation time and hassle with wireless locking’, the presentation on Wednesday, June 21, will focus on: ‘The Future of Open Platforms’ and on Thursday, June 22, John will cover: ‘The benefits of combining physical and cyber security in the Cloud’.

John will also be one of a group of industry figures in a panel discussion on Wednesday, June 21 (2pm to 2:50pm), titled: ‘The Future of Access Control’. He will be joined by Gareth Ellams, Managing Director of ASSA Abloy, Tony Smith, Major Accounts and Marketing Manager at Integrated Design Ltd and Spencer Marshall, Regional Sales Director at HID Global.

John, pictured, said: “TDSi is committed to educating the security market, so it makes perfect sense that we are partnering with our good friends at Tavcom and sponsoring the Theatre this year. We are also looking forward to engaging with an audience of security professionals and consumers, to discuss these key trends and to look at some of the exciting developments in the security sphere, which are shaping its future and are having a profound effect already.”

John’s presentations in brief:

Enhancing security and reducing installation time and hassle with wireless locking

Wireless solutions are revolutionising the installation, administration and operation of physical security and access control systems. TDSi and Darren Gill from Assa Abloy will demonstrate the considerable benefits of using wireless locking systems to effectively enhance any integrated security system.

Future of Open Platforms

TDSi with Jarod Booth, Regional Security Manager at Anixter, will discuss the impact of open platform systems and the benefits of ONVIF compliance, as well as answering questions from the floor, addressing queries and concerns from the wider security industry.

The benefits of combining physical and cyber security in the Cloud

Cloud-hosted security systems offer greater flexibility, convenience and control, whilst maintaining the highest levels of protection. TDSi will show how Cloud hosting of systems benefits security operators and installers by offering the ideal solution at the right cost.

TDSi will be running its own Technology Showcase, which will include demonstrations for the company’s customers and partners. TDSi’s systems will be on display on its distribution partner Anixter’s Stand (D1050), and TDSi’s EXgarde security software and controllers will be part of the display on the Suprema Stand (D1400), both in the main hall.

Access to the seminars in the Tavcom Training Theatre (stand B1250) is free. To register beforehand for a ticket for show entry visit www.ifsec.co.uk.
