GDPR e-learning courses

by Mark Rowe

Digital training company Me Learning has achieved GCHQ accreditation for its GDPR e-learning courses. The GDPR modules, written with specialist data privacy lawyers, Clayden Law, and with HR and marketer variants in association with trade bodies, were scrutinised by the GCHQ Certified Training scheme (GCT). The accreditation awards Me Learning GCHQ Awareness Level for its GDPR e-learning.

The official UK Government GCHQ has developed standards against which courses are assessed; criteria, written by GCHQ, are based on the IISP Skills Framework. The GCT certification process is carried out by APMG, the independent certification body approved by GCHQ to award certification and maintain the required high standards of assessment.

Nick Richards, CEO of Me Learning says: “Working with an excellent data privacy team at Clayden Law means we have always had confidence in our GDPR e-learning when it comes to legal accuracy. With this latest endorsement from GCHQ, we are now even more confident that our GDPR e-learning courses offer excellent value as an accredited resource for those organisations looking to get to grips with GDPR.”

All GDPR e-learning courses are certified by CPD. Me Learning has also worked with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) to develop GDPR for the Marketer and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) for the GDPR for the HR Professional course.

Chris Daly, chief executive of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), says: “Businesses and marketers in particular now have a legal imperative to use data responsibly. We have worked with Me Learning to develop the ‘GDPR for the Marketer’ e-Learning course, which empowers marketing professionals, ensuring relationships with customers are built on trust, as well as openness regarding how they will be marketed to. The GCHQ accreditation, underlines the professional nature and high standard of the course.”
