Sheerness contract

Dardan Security reports a new, four year contract with Peel Ports, for 24/7 security at the Port of Sheerness (London Medway). The work in Kent began on October 26.

On the Thames Estuary with road, rail and water connections, Peel Ports London Medway connects London, the south east of England, and the Midlands to international trade. Its list of cargoes includes cars, forest products, liquefied natural gas and steel, equating to about nine million tonnes of cargo a year. Dardan, an SIA Approved Contractor, also manages the security provision at Peel Ports Great Yarmouth, holding the contract since 2015.

Cambridge-based Dardan’s combining 24/7 manned guarding with bespoke training, specialist searches, drug dog services and drug and alcohol testing.

Our highly experienced teams will ensure that a first-class security service is delivered to such a critical facility.”
