Innovation award winner

by Mark Rowe

A Learner Management Platform (LMS) that was launched at the start of the pandemic was named innovation award winner at the Education Awards in Birmingham for online learner materials. Intuitus has been used to support learners through their level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety. Offered were virtual classroom sessions and bespoke reading materials. This has since been altered to a blended approach, with some face to face training. Jemma Baillie, Chief Operating Officer at Intuitus, said: “The pandemic posed a challenge for so many industries and for us – given a lot of training is face-to-face and very hands on – we had to adapt to find new ways of learning. Our online approach really helped to get learners engaged and is something we’ve continued to use as part of a blended approach to allow learners the flexibility to learn at their own pace.

“More than 4,500 people have been enrolled onto our online learner platform since 2020 and it is making a huge impact for our learners.”

The company is part of the Stadium Group – a Coventry based event management contractor – and traded as Stadium Traffic Management Training Ltd before launching as Intuitus in 2021. A local firm Opus Marketing was enlisted to support on their re-launch and branding, with a new website due to launch.

The company is a training provider for Premier League football clubs including Liverpool FC and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Jemma added: “Over the last 18 months we made the strategic decision to rebrand the company to support our continued growth and a number of major client wins. The launch has allowed us to support our clients to convey their own messaging through bespoke training programmes

“Our relationship with Stadium allows us to truly understand all operational areas of safety and security while building a vast bank of knowledge and experience for our team, so we are really excited to continue our growth.”
