Role: Installation and Support Engineer

Location: Warwickshire

Salary: £27,000 – £35,000 per annum + Overtime + Van

Technical Resources are recruiting for an Installation and Support Engineer, based out of an office in Warwickshire. From presenting proposed solutions to clients to testing hardware and software, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at ensuring smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering, implementing and supporting intelligent transport systems.
  • Presenting the proposed solutions to the clients over the telephone and face to face and explaining the industry jargon in a clear, confident and concise manner.
  • Testing hardware and software for inclusion into systems both at our facility and on site.
  • Problem solving both before and during installation.
  • Ensuring that during on site project work customer requirements are met wherever feasible. Providing professional and competent pre and post-sales support to customers. Writing and delivering documentation, application guides, manuals etc.
  • Training the clients staff on the operation and maintenance of the systems.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining a good standard of work and working within the required method statements for specific tasks.
  • Any other duties as required to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Full Driving Licence.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Telecomms, electrical, electronic, IT or engineering qualification.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • ITS/Highways/Traffic management experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with engineering software tools and programs is advantageous.
  • Programming skills is advantageous.
  • CSCS/ECS card holder is advantageous.
  • IPAF 1B, 3A, 3B is advantageous.
