Job Title: Project Manager – Cabling and Warden Call Installation
Location: Care Home, East London
Rate: £300-£350 p/day

Technical Resources is seeking a Project Manager to oversee a cabling and warden call installation project at a care home in East London. The role involves comprehensive project planning, execution, communication, risk management, and quality assurance to ensure the project’s success.

Description of Contract/Programme of Works:

  1. Project Planning:

    • Development of project plans, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with internal teams.
    • Contribution to project documentation and requirement gathering.
  2. Project Execution:

    • Ensure on-schedule completion of tasks, monitoring project progress, and addressing any issues or risks.
    • Manage deliverables and resources efficiently to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
    • Coordinate stakeholder feedback to align with project objectives.
  3. Communication:

    • Conduct regular project status meetings and update all stakeholders.
    • Maintain clear and effective communication with team members regarding project goals and updates.
    • Prepare project reports and documentation as needed.
  4. Risk Management:

    • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks and issues in collaboration with the operations manager.
  5. Quality Assurance:

    • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
    • Participate in post-project evaluations to highlight improvement areas.

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in managing data cabling, network, or security system projects.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with project management software.
  • Experience or interest in pursuing Six Sigma or PRINCE2 certification is advantageous.
