Role: Security Installation Engineer
Location: Scotland
Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 per annum
Technical Resources is currently seeking a Security Installation Engineer in Scotland to report directly to the Regional Operations Manager, the role will entail the installation of Security Systems, Intruder, Access control, IP CCTV, CCTV and VMS Platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Attend and undertake Installations of Security intruder alarm systems, access control, CCTV and VMS Platforms.
- Attend sites and undertake installations and commissioning of installed product
- Understand specifications, drawings and design standards to ensure the systems are installed to the clients brief and standard
- Entails having a solution finding and problem-solving mentality and methodology
- Meet deadlines including predefined target times, first fix dates, builders’ completions and handover dates
- Communicate clearly and concisely with the installation team and management regarding customer issues and/or site problems
- Carry out all paperwork and electronic reporting to the installation team promptly
- Present a professional appearance at all times
- Commercial awareness to ensure the job is delivered within the hours allocated
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Experience in servicing of security alarm systems, CCTV and Access
- PMV delivery of inspections
- Hold current qualifications or have relevant experience in security alarm systems
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Knowledge of Galaxy Intruder, IP CCTV & Access Control systems
- Pacom equipment knowledge would be advantageous
- Understanding of service delivery and current standards
