The security contract for Scotch Hall Shopping Centre in Drogheda in the Republic of Ireland has been awarded to Mercury Security Management after a tender process. The guarding firm says this marks an expansion into the ROI shopping centre market for Mercury, which already works at a number of Northern Ireland-based centres, including Castle Court, Kennedy Centre, Abbey Centre and Connswater.
Scotch Hall in Drogheda has 50 stores, a mixture of local Irish retailers and big-name brands. Mercury says it will service the account with additional customer relations staff to man the Customer Service desk and car park.
