Access Launches

by msecadm4921

Exhibiting in the RFID and Smartcards area, SALTO Systems will launch several access control products and a new access control technology.

Marc Handels, Marketing and Sales Director at SALTO, says: “This year’s IFSEC will see our biggest ever presence at the show. It will provide us with an unrivalled opportunity to demonstrate our full range of new integrated electronic access control solutions. We’re showing our complete product range of electronic escutcheons and controllers but particular highlights will include our new E-cylinder (RFID Version) already selected and installed by British Airports Authority (BAA) to lock almost 2,000 doors at their new passenger facility at Terminal 5 Heathrow. This electronic cylinder is available in three RFID versions: DESfire/Mifare, Picopass and HID iClass. All versions are equipped with SALTO Virtual Network Technology and are 100 per cent compatible with the rest of the SALTO platform and managed from our SALTO Pro Access software.

“We will also present the new SALTO Advanced Panic bar Solution (SAPS), certified to the EN1125 standard. This permits the granting of wire-free access to panic doors without the need for any expensive installation or complex wiring. We will introduce intelligent Card Enrolment solutions by incorporating Automatic Card Assignment Technology into the SALTO software and encoders in order to allow for speedy mass enrolment processes at for instance universities. To complete our offering of new access solutions we will also show new Mullion readers for narrow style frames and our latest access control Totems, which allow for the fitting of readers and controllers in those places where they cannot be fitted anywhere else, such as on door frames or walls.”
