Assistance, medical, safety and security providers, Exploration Logistics Group, with a head office in Mitcheldean, Gloucestershire; and MEDEX Global Solutions, have merged to form Frontier MEDEX Group.
Together they offer world-wide assistance, medical, safety and security service, ranging from remote medical clinics, insurance and travel intelligence to medical and political evacuation.
Global CEO, Tim Mitchell, says: “This merger is timely and significant. The world has already witnessed our rapid response capabilities in both Tripoli and Cairo, where we were first on the ground to evacuate more than 600 civilians from unexpected injury, unrest and rioting. At a time when we face growing environmental and political instability, Frontier MEDEX is uniquely positioned to help individuals and organizations achieve their global ambitions and fulfill their duty of care in a world of increasing uncertainty.”
UK-based Exploration Logistics Group offers remote site medical and safety. It has Frontier Medical, Medekit and Exlogs Safety divisions. US-based MEDEX Global Solutions has delivered emergency medical and security assistance and intelligence services, including emergency evacuation, aviation security and protection for corporate travellers and individuals worldwide since 1977. Through MEDEX Insurance Services, MEDEX provides insurance coverage and other services to travellers, expatriates and students.
From war zones to holiday homes, Frontier MEDEX delivers medical, safety and security.
President and Chief Operating Officer Americas, Bruce Kirby says: “What excites our people and customers around the world is our ability to deliver our services across all sectors and all locations. So, whether your challenge is sending your sales team to India, operating a deepwater oil rig off the coast of Brazil, or embarking on a first exchange trip to Paris, Frontier MEDEX has the proactive, global, medical, safety and security solutions you need to achieve your goals.”
The merger follows a recent investment into the combined entities by specialist minority investor, MML Capital Partners. Management and founding shareholders of both businesses have invested alongside MML.
