The ASIS 9th European Security Conference runs from April 18 to 21 at the Lisbon Congress Centre.
While the speakers come from across Europe, and North America, here are some of the UK ones:
Norman Mortell, Director of Operations, of Agenda Security Services, on Animal Rights Extremist Tactics; on risk, Julia Graham, Chief Risk Officer of law firm DLA Piper UK; Dan Hooton, Director, Spearfish Maritime Security Ltd; and Mike O’Neill, CPP, Managing Director, Greymans, are speaking on ‘Securing the Seas: Piracy and the Threat to Global Trade’.
Michael Bacon, Principal, Grimbaldus Group will consider security off-shore.
Martin Smith, Chairman and Founder of The Security Company (International) will discuss ‘the human factor’ in security.
Michael Foynes, Director of Global Security, Microsoft will cover ‘operational convergence’; and covering certification will be David Cresswell, CPP, PSP, Managing Director of UK-based ARC Training International.
