Bodyguard Risk

by msecadm4921

Danish security firm Bramsborg Security & Safety reports that it has created a ‘bodyguard risk assessment model’.

The risk assessment model is built, the writers say, around a questionnaire/grading system by collecting research from different countries and implementing knowledge from the company’s own cases.

"There’s an increasing need for knowledge within the personal protection scene," says Henrik Bramsborg, owner of Bramsborg. "There’s an estimated 1600 schools and companies around the world, educating bodyguards, but only a fragment of these teach their students to conduct a real risk assessment. Corporate executives and other VIPs, who often pay a lot of money for protection, have the right to a proper assessment, before they decide to purchase private security."

Using the model, it is possible to assess how high or low a level of risk the client is exposed to, it is claimed. Or; put another way; you’ll be able to see if the client is in danger or not. The questions in the model will circle around the clients’ social background, professional background, health, general empathy and lifestyle.

"It is the first ever commercially sold, and we have great expectations for the sales. Even though it is a simple tool, it is a necessary one and so far the feedback has been great," Mr Bramsborg adds. The model will be sold on CD ROM and can be purchased as of August 8.
