Casino Contract

by msecadm4921

Chubb Fire secured an fire protection and security contract for Genting Casinos in the UK.

Originally, Chubb was approached to bid for the servicing of more than 1000 extinguishers at Genting Casinos clubs nationwide. This was extended to the supply and servicing of 1400 extinguishers. During a maintenance visit, it was recognised that additional time and manpower could be saved by moving all of Genting Casinos Fire Risk Assessments online using Chubb Fire’s web-based Risk Assessment Management system, Global. The advantage of being able to access the certificates 24/7 was a major influence in its decision to switch to Chubb, according to the contractor.

Genting Casinos chose Chubb to supply the fire extinguishers in some of its casinos as Graham Coley, Head of Building Services says: “The reason behind the contract extensions time after time, is due to the care and level of attention our account receives.”

Genting Casinos has three key brands across the provincial estate; Circus, Maxims and Mint. Circus is a mass market proposition with 12 locations, Maxims is aimed at the aspirational end of the market and has eight locations whilst Mint is targeted more towards the ‘true gamers’ and has 20 sites. Genting Casinos clubs offer visitors bars, restaurants, entertainment, extended openings hours between noon and 6am, as well as gaming.
