Comms Package

by msecadm4921

Intercom product company Commend UK is launching a customised communication package, the GE 50, aimed at smaller businesses and residential developments.

The Intercom Server GE 50 has two integral outputs (door release relays) to release barriers, gates or doors and an EE 401 Master Station. Pre-programmed before being sent to site, the sets are ready to install with the makers say a minimum of fuss.

Greg Gregoriou, Managing Director of Commend UK, says: “There is great demand among smaller businesses and residential buildings for quality, robust entry systems that can be installed quickly and easily on site. The pre-configured GE 50 system meets this need, delivering crystal clear speech quality through its rugged, vandal resistant stations. The systems also come with a 24-month back-to-base warranty for added peace of mind.”

Suitable according to the firm as an access control solution for small sites such as light commercial premises, warehouses, and private homes, the package is scalable: the core package is pre-configured for up to three, seven or 11 intercom stations plus one master, with users able to choose between flush or surface mount stainless steel stations, or a mix of both. Up to eight additional door/gate releases for access control can be added, and the package also offers a call forwarding facility to transfer a call to a mobile or landline (ie PABX or PSTN) allowing for remote access.
