On June 23 and 24, BCB International will be attending the DVD Exhibition in Bedfordshire. BCB International, a designer and manufacturer of survival and protective equipment will be showcasing products on both their stands: C4-52 and OR49.

DVD stands for Defence Equipment and Support’s (DE&S), an annual event for Land Equipment and Joint Support Chain managers. It runs at Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire MK45 2JH.

Amongst the range of equipment on show they will be exhibiting the Vehicle Borne Drinking Water Cooling System and the SquadBak® 25L flexible water carrier. Also on the stand will be the new Buccaneer Maritime Denial System, which is for port protection and for anti-pirate protection.

To help protect soldiers against the impact of spall (particles of metal), BCB is offering its new Blast Pants, which are made with special impact resistant fabric.

The new C-IED remote mine detonating system for IEDs will also be shown for the first time. The C-IED non-explosive system is accurate to a range of 350m stand off distance. The system is non-explosive, reliable, easy and quick to operate and to train on, makers say.

Andrew Howell, the Managing Director of BCB International says: “ We are always pleased to have the opportunity to demonstrate our new range of products at DVD. We invite you to come and see our range of military equipment, where we will be glad to tell you more.”

The equipment on show represents a cross-section of the categories of personal equipment currently in use with British and other NATO forces in Afghanistan, as well as with Special Forces teams.
