Mitsubishi Electric’s Visual Information Systems has added to its range of digital signage LCD displays with a 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels) 52-inch full HD display monitor.

This completes the manufacturer’s range of 32-, 42-, 46- and 65-inch display screens. The new LDT521V has been designed for both business and commercial uses, according to the makers. It offers 450cd/m” of brightness and a contrast ratio of 1800:1. The monitor features the company’s Natural Colour Matrix and 16.7 million colours, enabling what the firm calls high-impact image reproductions. The 6ms response rate ensures it is claimed rich and smooth video display, making this product suitable for video conferencing, command and control points, retail outlets, public information areas and other commercial applications. As for installation the product provides landscape and portrait display setting modes, suitable for areas that require either tall or wide applications. The Picture-in-picture and Picture-out-Picture function allows video and data inputs to be displayed simultaneously, while the display menu features a digital zoom function for image enlargements. Fraser McDonald, UK Sales Manager said: “he new LDT521V completes Mitsubishi’s existing range of LCD monitors and has been produced to give customers a more varied choice of display options. This monitor has been designed for users who require a larger screen size for commercial application.”
