Dome Series

by msecadm4921

Honeywell has launched the new HD6 Series of pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) dome cameras, replacing the Honeywell (Ultrak) KD6 Series as the next generation of PTZ domes.

The new HD6 23x and the 25x dome cameras complement the range of 18x domes already on the market. This extended range now provides installers with a product-range that suits a wider number of applications, the makers say.
With a telephoto range of 3.8mm to 87.4mm, the 23x colour offers, it is claimed, enhanced colour quality and improved zoom capability. The 25x TDN dome offers an enhanced telephoto range of 3.8mm to 95mm, providing the ability to close in on long distance objects with speed and clarity, the manufacturer say.  The 25x TDN also has a wider dynamic range to operate during day or night and can also be operated in a wider range of light level settings.

What they say

“With the new HD6 series, Honeywell is now in a position to offer customers a product range that is optimal for a much wider range of applications,” said Chris Koetsier, EMEA Marketing Leader, Honeywell Video Systems. “With a greater selection of camera options than the KD6, this new series of PTZ dome cameras offers installers and end-users the latest camera range at competitive prices.” Every camera offers similar features including PTZ and on-screen display.  All domes are available with five housing variations – ruggedised, nitrogen pressurised, indoor drop ceiling, indoor pendant and outdoor pendant mount. The range is now available from distributor ADI-GARDINER. For details, visit www.adi-intl.com
