Forensic In Worcs

by msecadm4921

The South Worcestershire Community Safety Partnership is calling on residents to use SmartWater – a clear liquid which carries a forensic code – to help combat the rise in theft and burglary which typically occurs over the festive period.

Community Safety officers will be giving away 400 packs of SmartWater to residents in the Blackpole estate area next week, and will also be on hand to offer advice on safeguarding homes and property.
Blackpole residents will be offered SmartWater signs to display in windows, so that criminals know that valuables are protected.
“Many thieves escape conviction because the Police are unable to identify the true owners of suspected stolen property found in their possession,” explains Launa Walker, Programme Manager for the South Worcestershire Community Safety Partnership.
