IFSEC Awards

On the Monday 11 May of IFSEC, the exhibition’s Security Industry Awards 2009 were handed out to the winners at a black-tie gala dinner at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

Organised with the British Security Industry Association (BSIA), the awards acknowledge people, products and technological advances. The winners of the 2009 awards are as follows:

Alex Carmichael, BSIA Technical Director, says: "Each year the IFSEC Security Industry Awards demonstrate the breadth and depth of innovation in our industry. This year’s award winners have developed outstanding products, excelled at providing guarding services, and formed policing partnerships which have made a real difference in communities. I am always impressed by the level of creativity and commitment in our industry and this is very much in evidence in this year’s winners, each of whom should be justly proud of their achievements."
