Omega Security Solutions, the network of UK electronic security systems installers, is celebrating its fifth anniversary.
Sales Director Ian Davis says: "We can look back with pride on five successful years of progress. Through our nationwide network of long-established security firms, we have been increasingly meeting the intruder and fire alarm, CCTV and access control requirements of companies and organisations across the country, in particular those with multiple branches." Omega’s customer base includes women’s clothing chain Pilot UK, which has more than 120 stores. Simon Veal of Pilot UK says: "We have developed a good relationship with Omega, who work alongside our in-house shop fitters on new stores and refitting existing branches, responding efficiently and effectively to both installations and maintenance issues." Adroit Modular Buildings, based in Worcester, and providing permanent and temporary building solutions, is another customer. Purchasing Manager Tom Magee says: "We use Omega as we find the benefit of using a central contact point, coupled to work undertaken by local contractors, works better than using a large company. In the past, we have had to create relationships time and time again, whereas Omega give us the stability of contact and then they organise their local member." Omega has successfully completed installations for The Professional Cookware Company. Commercial director Martyn Sutton says: "My position involves me in acquiring new shops, fitting them out and getting them ready for trading by working closely with the retail agent, shop base fit-out contractor and cabinet maker. These three contractors know exactly what I want and, moreover, what I am prepared to pay for. I decided that I needed that same level of service from a security contractor and Omega fitted the bill. It’s a one-stop-shop – they know what I want, when I want it, and how much I’m prepared to pay. With other contractors you have to deal with different offices around the UK, which makes it difficult. All Omega’s work was carried out on time, professionally and as per the quotation."
