Adams Rite is launching its newly developed deadlock – Sentinel 6 on stand 05 – A145 at Interbuild at Birmingham’s NEC from 26 to 30 October 2008.

Visitors to the building trade show will be the first to see the new product which has been developed to meet the criteria of BS EN12209 security grade 6.

The Sentinel 6 is a mortise mechanical deadlock designed for the commercial aluminium door market. Its slim-line lock case fits into thermally broken aluminium sections but it can also be retro-fitted into single chambered sections. The deadlock operates with a 17mm Europrofile cylinder, has a 14.5mm wide case and is available in three backset sizes – 25, 30 and 40mm.

Tim Almond, Business Development Manager at Adams Rite, says of the Sentinel 6: “We invest heavily in research and development at Adams Rite and it is very important to us to make sure our new products are constantly achieving the highest standards. The Sentinel 6 has been designed to meet the stringent requirements of BS EN12209, the European single point mechanical lock standard and achieves security grade 6."
