DG Morris of Coventry installed underground operators for the elaborate wrought iron gates at the entrance. Darren Morris of the installers said: ‘FAAC operators were the obvious choice, because they are consistently reliable. Aesthetics also played a key role in the selection; being designed for underground installation the FAAC 760 system is ideal for this project, as it doesn’t detract from even the most ornate gates.’ The product offers hydraulic slowdown at the end of the opening or closing cycle, to reduce wear and tear, the manufacturers say, and to prolong the life of the gate system. The firm’s operators and full gate systems are available through a national network of more than 600 approved installers.
