January Mag

On your desks in January 2006 – the next issue of Professional Security magazine.

As usual there are pages of coverage on Security Industry Authority regulation – news and opinion. In January’s issue, a G4S director looks into 2006, to and beyond that March 20 deadline for contract security officer licences.

Meanwhile, trade association the British Security Industry Association is repeating calls to bring about the licensing of in-house security personnel, at the earliest possible date.

David Dickinson, Chief Executive of Worcester-based BSIA says: "The industry and its customers deserve better than just a promise to do something about the in-house issue at some future, ill-defined date. This was an anomaly in the Private Security Industry Act and requires an early remedy."
