CEDIA Expo is an education and product showcase trade event for home electronic system designers, installers, specifiers and equipment manufacturers and distributors.
The event brings together home cinema, audio-video solutions, lighting control, structured wiring, HVAC control, blind and security systems. For those involved in the planning, design, specification or installation of home electronic systems, CEDIA Expo remains the only dedicated event in Europe, it is claimed.
Following its 2006 London debut, CEDIA Expo returns to ExCeL London venue to offer four days of training courses running from Monday 25th June, with the exhibition itself open for business from Tuesday 26th until Thursday 28th June.
Among exhibitors are Structured Cable Products (SCP), a manufacturer of structured wiring products with 15 years manufacturing and distribution experience. They provide security, fire alarm, audio, CCTV, coaxial, LAN cable and accessory solutions. SCP is launching its new line of HDMI cables, HDMI switchers and HDMI splitters and is introducing its Professional HDMI Repeater Cable, providing the ability to extend HDMI HDTV/HDCP signals transmission distance without any extra power supply, the makers say. The cable uses HDMI copper cables allowing the extender to actively regenerate the signal up to 100ft.
