Now available through distributor Norbain, the new American Dynamics IP SpeedDome from Tyco Security Products affords ONVIF compatibility for integration with ONVIF compatible devices.
Compatible with ONVIF recording platforms as well as with American Dynamics recorders, the new IP SpeedDome also communicates with the American Dynamics Illustra Connect tool. This means that IP SpeedDomes can be quickly located on the network for fast installation and configuration, the firms say.
The IP SpeedDome offers 540 and 470 TVL resolution (35x Series and 22x Series) and comes with the latest H.264, MJPEG, MPEG4 and Active Content Compression (ACC) video compression technology, in addition to real time 25 IPS at D1 resolution. Full stream sharing to multiple users provides the firms add flexibility for security networks, allowing up to 16 users to view each camera.
Available in 35x and 22x optical zoom variants; each has a built-in web server for camera configuration via Internet Explorer version 6 or higher, and to provide remote access to presets, tours, privacy zones, in addition to audio and camera settings.
