Reliance Monitoring Services, a division of Reliance Plc and a provider of electronic protection and monitoring services, has agreed a partnership with Location Specific Technology Limited (LST) for wide area use of LST’s M-Track asset protection and SafeCall support and assistance devices.

Tom Riall, Managing Director of Reliance Monitoring Services said: “LST’s wide-area secure asset tracking solutions and personal protection systems, linked to 24-hour support and assistance throughout the UK, with the combination of GSM, RF and Bluetooth technologies will enable Reliance Monitoring Services to fulfil the needs of blue chip customers in controlling the movement of assets, auditing the location of assets, and the support and assistance of field based operatives anywhere in the UK.”
Reliance Monitoring Services has also selected a personal alarm system, Safe Call, developed by LST Ltd. Safe Call uses a combination of GSM, radio beacon coupled with two-way voice capability to ensure personal safety for a wide selection of user groups, such as victims of violence, lone worker protection, the elderly and infirm. The product is functional and user-friendly with all complexity moved to a "black box" solution that can be programmed via SMS to enable the various functions for the user. Safe Call consists of a Master Control Unit, a remote Bluetooth ‘watch’ transmitter unit and a desktop charger/two way audio unit.
