Management Software

PPM 2000, a developer of Incident Reporting and Investigation Management software for corporate security, safety and risk management, has released Perspective Version 2.0. This is hte latest version of the company’s flagship product.

With the addition of case management, Perspective now offers investigators the ability to manage their workloads more effectively by grouping related incidents, and investigations, into a single case for review. This allows for consolidation of incident data for managing multiple investigations simultaneously, establishing incident, investigation and case links, and quantifying aggregate loss.

Perspective’s new email notifications feature (enabled for SMTP or Microsoft® Outlook® integration) allows users to email key incident or case details – from an incident or case record for attention. This feature can also be used to notify investigators of their assigned investigations, to alert users of new assignments (and of modifications to existing ones), and to inform supervisors that assignments have been completed,.

The software firm adds that over 30 enhancements have been made to the core software, including redesigned reports, new search capabilities, an updated interface, advanced assignments functionality, additional fields and new navigation and display features.

Don Murphy, President and CEO of PPM 2000, said: "We are extremely pleased with the features and functionality that have been incorporated in Perspective Version 2.0. With these enhancements, Perspective takes investigation and case management to the next level and further sets itself apart from the other incident reporting solutions available on the market. We recognize that Perspective is an integral part of our clients’ security operations, and this latest release is a direct result of listening to their needs and wants." PPM 2000 is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. For more information, visit
