A new course from Sheffield Hallam University is a Masters in International Criminal Justice.
You study how crime and criminal justice responses have developed across different parts of the world, and the repercussions for the delivery of criminal justice in England and Wales.
Subjects covered, the Sheffield-based institution reports, include crime, justice and policy in a global context; comparative approaches to criminal justice; policing in a global context; forensic criminology and leadership and governance in criminal justice.
According to the uni, graduates from the course will develop knowledge that will enhance their career development prospects within criminal justice agencies and which will inform their existing interest in how international perspectives influence alternative approaches to crime.
The teaching team includes tutors who have experience in criminal justice and who are involved in research and have links with regional criminal justice agencies. The course will also bring in industry specialists to reflect the latest thinking and best practice.
