Printers With Extras

Identity product company Databac is offering Datacard’s SD card printers and Fargo’s Advanced Generation DTC range with free extras, including Dataimage Lite ID software for designing and printing cards, 250 blank white cards, a colour ribbon, 100 lanyards and card holders worth he firm says £250.

The package includes all necessary components to start issuing cards a once. Databac adds that it can offer savings when you trade in old printers for a new SD model. The company’s recently-announced on-site support package cuts the cost of maintenance and repairs to it’s claimed 40p per day.

Managing director Charles Balcomb said: “Buying a card printer without software, ribbon and cards is like buying an electronic appliance without batteries. We prefer to help get our customers up and running without delay. Our easy-to-use Dataimage software allows them to design, print and encode high-quality credentials with no learning curve. As a card manufacturer, it causes us no pain to give away a starter pack of blank cards and a free ribbon is our mark of confidence that our customer will come back for supplies, support or upgrades in future.”

Databac is certified to resell and support Datacard’s newly-launched SD260 card printer and Fargo’s latest DTC range. Replacing the SP35 Plus, the Datacard SD260 has a print cycle of more than 200 colour cards per hour.
