Pickersgill-Kaye, supplier of locks for the custodial sector, will launch its latest lock at the Home Office Scientific Development Branch (HOSDB) exhibition on March 12 and 13.

The Leeds-based company’s Class 2 Mechanical Pass Lock will be on display on stand A12 at the exhibition, at RAF Halton in Buckinghamshire.

This new lock means Pickersgill-Kaye is able, according to the firm, to offer a complete commercial custodial package for new build and refurbishment projects across the UK and overseas. The Class 2 Pass Lock’s external footprint matches existing UK cell door, pass door and lock box applications. Among features are a solid steel main bolt fitted with 2 hardened roller inserts, a sacrificial brass escutcheon and a cast stainless steel key cut to code. Pickersgill-Kaye will also have on show many more of its latest developments which include locking solutions for a range of applications including one of its most recent innovations the new Kaye interactive cell locking solution which is the outcome of a joint venture between Pickersgill-Kaye Ltd and Core System (NI) Ltd.
