New from Pyser-SGI: Fujinon introduces new range of three-megapixel vari-focal CCTV lenses for high resolution cameras.
Available from UK/Ireland distributor Pyser-SGI Limited is a new range of Fujinon 3-megapixel vari-focal CCTV lenses for high resolution 1/3 or 1?4 inch format cameras. They are now being introduced to meet what the firm calls the growing demand for quality images that allow information acquisition and subject recognition rather than just viewing.
It is anticipated that Pyser-SGI will be showing the lenses for the first time in Europe at the IFSEC exhibition, Birmingham in May.
The new ‘YV’ range employs Fujinon’s Aspherical Technology (AT) using low dispersion glass with a high reflective index, offering, it is claimed, better quality images and higher optical performance. Supporting up to 3-million pixel high resolution cameras, the lenses feature fast aperture and are equipped with built-in ND (Neutral Density) filters for use with sensitive cameras, plus metal CS mounts with locking screws and DC auto iris systems.
The three models in the new range include the two super wide angle (100 degrees horizontal, using 1/3 inch sensor) YV 2.8×2.8 SA-SA2 and YV 4.3×2.8 SA-SA2 lenses, plus the 15x magnification telephoto YV 3.3×15 SA-SA2.
Focal lengths are 2.8-8 mm for the YV 2.8×2.8 lens, 2.8-12 mm for the YV 4.3×2.8, and 15-50 mm for the YV 3.3×15. The lens fast apertures (F-numbers) are 1.2-T360 on the YV 2.8×2.8, 1.4-T360 on the YV 4.3×2.8, and 1.5-T360 on the YV 3.3×15. The lens weights are 50 g for the 2.8x, and 60 g for the 4.3x and 3.3x.
