The SIA is asking you to take a few minutes to let the regulator know how regulation has changed the private security industry.
The University of Sheffield is doing research into the impact of statutory regulation upon the private security industry. It’s in collaboration with the SIA and the Economic and Social Research Council.
It has set up an online questionnaire for those working in the private security industry. The questionnaire asks about your opinions and experiences of regulation – badging and the approved contractor scheme. The data gathered will be used to assess and measure the impact of regulation, to inform stakeholder views and identify areas in which regulation might be improved.
