by msecadm4921

Physical security product manufacturer ASSA ABLOY report that IFSEC 2006 is their platform to roll out a new identity as a global, total product and services solutions provider.

On its stand S55, ASSA ABLOY reports it is presenting under a single banner new products and concepts available from its brands – ABLOY, ASSA, Yale, UNION, Chubb, Mul-T-Lock and Besam

What they say

Tzachi Wiesenfeld, ASSA ABLOY Managing Director, says: “IFSEC 2006 will be the first time that the market will see ASSA ABLOY exhibiting as a group. As a group we provide security, safety and convenience for lock users all over the world. IFSEC 2006 is the largest and most successful security event in Europe and was therefore the obvious choice as a platform to unveil our new group identity."

New products range from access control systems and electric locking to master key systems and mechanical security. Chubb Locks Custodial Services will introduce a new range of motorised custodial door and gate locks at IFSEC. Winner of IFSEC 2005’s Best New Physical Security Product, ASSA ABLOY Architectural Solutions will feature Evolution, an interchangeable mechanical and electro-mechanical lock, TWIN CLIQ, programmable keys and cylinders, Brighthandle, a door handle to communicate using coloured light and the newly upgraded 800 Series panic escape hardware.

Mul-T-Lock UK will be presenting its ranges of mechanical security products plus its electronic cylinder systems, Cliq and Cliq-4-U. Under the Mul-T-Lock, Chubb Locks, Yale, Ingersoll and Nemef brands, Mul-T-Lock UK will be offering mechanical security solutions. Also launched will be the new Chubb High Security Mortice Lock.

Glimpse into future

The ASSA ABLOY Future Lab invites leading players in the market to test and validate new technologies and concepts, part of the ‘Shaping the Future’ feature on the stand.
