First 58 Approved

The March 20 licence for contract guard and CCTV operator deadlines saw 58 companies with Approved Contractor status, the Security Industry Authority (SIA) reported.

Organisations that meet the requirements of the Approved Contractor Scheme can distinguish themselves as being amongst the best providers of private security services in England and Wales, according to the SIA. A public register of approved contractors is available on the SIA website. Companies achieving ACS accreditation will be registered as approved and may advertise themselves as such.

Those 58 with ACS status are, in alphabetical order: AFC Group, Alliance Security, Britsafe Security, Cardinal Security, Chubb Security Personnel , Constant Security Services, Corps of Commisionaires Management, Crown Security Services, Delta One Security Services, Duval Security, Elite Contract Security, Elite Security Guarding Services, First Security (Guards) , Freelance Security Services, G4S Cash Services (UK), G4S Security Services (UK) , Gardwell Security, Guardian Facilities, ICTS (UK) , Initial Security, Intacept Management , ISL Dardan Security , Knight Security , Legion Group, Leisuresec, Lynx Security Services, Milton Keynes Group Security, Mitie Security (North) , Mitie Security South West, Mitie Trident Security, Nikaro, Northern Security, OCS Resolution Security, Pegasus Security Group, Post Office, Profile Security Services, Reay Security, Reliance Security Services, RMB and Associates, Safeguard Security, Sectorguard, SecuriGuard South West, Securitas Security Services UK and Ireland, Securitas UK, Security Plus +, Senator Security Services, St James Security, Stargard Security, Strata Security, Sunwin Cash Processing Services, Temple Security Contractors, The Courtenay Group, The Shield Guarding Company, The Watch, Ultimate Security Services, United Guarding Services, Vision Security Group, and Wilson James.
