The March 20 licence for contract guard and CCTV operator deadlines saw 58 companies with Approved Contractor status, the Security Industry Authority (SIA) reported.
Organisations that meet the requirements of the Approved Contractor Scheme can distinguish themselves as being amongst the best providers of private security services in England and Wales, according to the SIA. A public register of approved contractors is available on the SIA website. Companies achieving ACS accreditation will be registered as approved and may advertise themselves as such.
