MIPS runs from April 13 to 16, 2009 in Expocentr, Moscow.
It’s the 15th Moscow International Exhibition for Systems and Technologies of Protection, Security and Fire Safety.
Organisers describe MIPS as the largest exhibition for the security industry in Eastern Europe and CIS, and features top brands from around the world. The event enables suppliers and buyers to come together and discuss opportunities. It is also a place to find out more about the market and discuss business with partners and new contacts.
MIPS adds pavilion
Recruiters from oil and gas operators and service providers will be looking to meet experienced oil and gas professionals with a desire to explore new challenges in a number of oil and gas companies based regionally and internationally. Recruiters are expected to focus on students who have graduated from universities and courses specialising in the oil and gas industry.
New sections
MIPS introduces new sectors for 2009, reflecting the development of the security industry in Russia. These are: Fire Safety and Fire-Fighting, Access Control Solutions and CCTV and Video Surveillance.
National groups
In addition to individual company stands, MIPS regularly presents a number of national group stands. This year, they will represent China, Finland, Italy, Korea, Taiwan and UK.
Smart card exhibition
Held alongside MIPS, Cardex 2009 will showcase smart cards, bank security technologies and access control systems.
