Someone is going to win it. Will it be you?

VCC-HD4600P

Since its launch five months ago, SANYO’s VCC-HD4600P Quad-Stream camera has attracted attention from CCTV installers looking to offer their clients identification grade images.

The VCC-HD4600P has the capability to capture full high definition (1920 x 1080) sharp and crystal clear colour images at 25 frames per second and is equipped with a Dual Codec to support both the latest H.264 compression standard as well as MJPEG.

A multi-streaming function enables simultaneous transmission of up to four video streams with, for example, one low resolution stream being used for real time surveillance and another set for recording at full HD for post-incident investigation.

The VCC-HD4600P, which is just one of nine cameras in the SANYO HD range, has a built-in 10x AF Megapixel-rated Lens (6.3-63mm).

The SANYO design engineers have succeeded in introducing the ‘wow’ factor to all of the SANYO HD cameras, all of which have a large number of technically advanced features including a video analytics function which can be programmed to identify the behaviour of subjects and a 3D-DNR function to reduce ‘noise’ in low light conditions.”

The VCC-HD4600P will certainly make life easier for installers Simply There is Auto IP Setup Utility to facilitate IP address setting. When a VCC-HD4600P is connected to a network, it is automatically detected by the software and an IP address is set automatically.

An HDMI output allowing the full quality of the cameras’ images to be observed on an HD monitor and PoE (Power over Ethernet) are built into all the cameras as standard whilst there is the option of adding an external HDD for storing recorded video ‘on the edge’.

Question – What type of lens is built into the VCC-HD4600P?
